# Interlibrary Loan

## Policy overview

Plumfield Library is building an interlibrary loan process to connect patrons with books from the Main Library. This policy describes how to request an interlibrary loan and what to expect.

## Key points

- Place holds normally through Libib.
- Use the patron dashboard to submit one request form per book.
- The book is checked out when it ships and may take up to two weeks.
- Interlibrary loans are checked out for 60 days and may not be renewed.
