# Renewals

## Policy overview

Plumfield Library does not offer renewals at this time. With so many readers enjoying our books, keeping them circulating is one of the most important ways we steward what we have. The 45-day loan period gives each family a generous window with their books, and returning them on time means the next family gets their turn.
